From 1983 to 1985, in a corner of a parking lot, there was a teen nightclub known simply as the Beat Club. But it wasn't any ordinary teen club. The Beat Club was designed to appeal to a wide swath of Miami's music lovers. Take a look back at some of the acts and people who frequented the southwest Dade spot.
