A popular salad chain that has quickly taken Miami by storm has opened in downtown Miami.
New York-based salad chain Just Salad has just opened at 200 S. Biscayne Blvd. in an area that is now home to new restaurants like ViceVersa. Beginning Tuesday, October 15, guests can stop by for multiple promotions to celebrate the new downtown location.
The downtown location will be the salad chain's sixth location in Miami following its expansion to Brickell, Aventura, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, and Doral. The NYC-based, fast-casual restaurant chain first opened with a mission to make everyday health and sustainability possible.
Starting Tuesday, October 15, Just Salad will host a "give back day" by donating $1 of every purchase to the Biscayne Bay Foundation. The South Florida-based nonprofit is an environmental foundation that facilitates opportunities for volunteers to travel to local waterways three times every other week to preserve and restore the wildlife and waterways of Biscayne Bay.
On Wednesday, October 16, every guest who orders in the store will receive a discounted $5 meal. Thursday, October 17, is "VIP Bowl Day," so every customer who orders in the store will also receive a discounted $5 meal. The menu has a variety of chef-designed salads and warm bowls; highlights include the seasonal fall salads, "Thai Chicken Crunch, and "Tokyo Supergreens."
Moving on to Friday, October 19, all of those who work in the community will have a special $5 meal offered for all in-store purchases as Just Salad's way to give back to the community.
The promotions will continue next week for all guests as part of the "Reusable Bowl" rewards program. The "Reusable Bowl Happy Hour" will offer $8.99 salads and warm bowls for reusable bowl customers who order in-store on weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m. between Monday, October 21, and Friday, November 8.
While downtown Miami is the latest opening in South Florida, according to Just Salad's website, the chain will soon expand to Coral Springs and Plantation.
