Summer is here and that means grabbing a quick bite on the way to the beach or enjoying a meal under a large outdoor umbrella.
June brought us the much-anticipated Huahua's Taqueria, a fast/casual restaurant featuring a wide array of tacos, Mexican beers, and Margaritas in a dog and people-friendly environment. Aroma Espresso Bar opened another location -- this time in Dadeland, marking the first of many dining options in the mall's new wing, and Drogerie is the place for experimental cocktails in a laboratory setting.
We said goodbye to some well loved restaurants that had long runs.
Bond St., the sexy, intimate sushi lounge, closed despite a loyal following; Waxy O'Connors shuttered its South Beach location; and we said goodbye to The Crab House, which served Miami diners for three decades.
