53. Ravioli di Aragosta at Caffe da Vinci
For foodies, a perfect dish is akin to the the Sistine Chapel -- a sublime work of art. The ravioli di aragosta ($15), or lobster ravioli, at Caffe da Vinci is nothing less. Tender and perfectly cooked pasta pouches containing just the right amount of lobster and bathed in a creamy (yet not too creamy) shrimp and lobster sauce, brought to you as if someone up high decided to deliver a blessing. There is no skimping on the lobster; there is no clumpy, cloying sauce. There is just flawlessness. Warning: You might be tempted to lick any remaining sauce from your plate, but don't. You're too old for that.
