LeBron James isn't just a businessman; he's a business, man. Yes, the Miami Heat superstar isn't just building a legacy in Miami; he's building a business here too. James today announced plans to open a high-end lifestyle store called "Unknwn."

For some reason, Riptide was left off of the press release mailing list, but here's an excerpt from USA Today:

On the heels of a stunning Game 1 victory over the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday night and on the brink of a possible first championship, NBA MVP, business mogul and fashion icon LeBron James has announced that he will launch a new, modern luxury concept store in Miami for fall 2011. The store, which will open with a mix of apparel, footwear, printed materials and lifestyle accouterments, with featured brands to include A.P.C., Original Fake and Nike Tier 0 product, will be called Unknwn.
Sounds like some high-streetwear-dandy (and we mean that in a good way) kind of stuff. There seems to be no details about the store's location. The safe bet is that he's taking his fashion talents to South Beach, but it might also be a good fit for the Design District.

The store's Twitter has also posted a shot of potential designs for the store. We were kind of hoping that there'd be some hints about the address, but it seems the store is planning for a November opening.
