Monterrey Bar is a tribute to The Standard Spa, Miami Beach's namesake roots as the Monterrey Motel that originally opened at 40 Island Avenue in 1953 and designed by architect Norman Giller. Today, the intimate bar celebrates unique twists on classic cocktails like the Monterrey G&T, a butterfly pea-steeped gin paired with elderflower tonic, a citrus elixir, and sage-infused aromatics bitters. Indulgent light fare from executive chef Andrew Gilbert ranges from prawns and truffle-infused tater tots to duck confit and roasted bone marrow.
