A rare, Miami-born native, Amir Anvari decided to pursue his career in Japanese Cuisine back in 2010. Humble beginnings would prepare him for nearly a decade spent alongside Makoto Okuwa, at his eponymous Bal Harbor restaurant. OmakaseDirect was born during the 2020 Pandemic, as a way to be able to continue to express, create memorable experiences, and quality sushi, in the confort of your own home.
