Last-minute holiday shopping is the worst, especially if you’re a wizard. The stores are so crowded that everybody steps on your robes. The pay-by-wand system is constantly on the fritz. Annoying children pull your beard and ask if they can sit on your lap — a clear indication it’s time to lay off the butterbeer. So why not get all of your wizardly shopping out of the way early? Tate’s annual Halloween tent sale is themed just for you this year. Put on your best robes and then apparate (instantaneously teleport via spell, duh) to Tate’s Comics this Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. There you can snatch up comics, graphic novels, manga, movies, toys, and T-shirts. You can even get your facial hair touched up for free at the wizard beard station, and anyone in costume will receive a special coupon for the afternoon. No one has to know those robes are your regular clothes. On Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., bring a blank shirt for a free screen-print from Fine Print Shoppe.
