The Adrienne Arsht Center has announced the anticipated return of its popular Broadway in Miami series, with the 2026-2027 lineup featuring a host of renowned stories adapted for the stage, including two South Florida premieres and one Miami debut.
While the 2025-2026 season brought classics like The Wiz, alongside more recent hits like & Juliet and The Notebook, to the stage in Miami, this year’s lineup features stage adaptations ranging from The Great Gatsby to The Sound of Music to Beauty and the Beast. The series kicks off with a production of Buena Vista Social Club, the 2023 musical featuring the music of the legendary Cuban music group, and closes with Jersey Boys, the Tony Award-winning jukebox musical telling the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
While you can buy tickets to individual productions, subscriber packages with admission to all six shows are available starting at $260. Here’s a look at the Broadway shows headed to the stage in Miami this year.
Buena Vista Social Club
September 29 to October 4
Set in Havana from the 1950s to the 1990s, when the Cuban band Buena Vista Social Club formed, the musical based on their story first debuted off-Broadway in 2023 and premiered on the Great White Way in 2025. It tied Death Becomes Her and Maybe Happy Ending for the most Tony nominations last year, winning in four out of ten categories. The show’s featured musicians also won a Special Tony Award. The Arsht Center run marks Buena Vista’s South Florida debut.
A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical
December 1 to 6
A jukebox musical based on the life of the man behind “Sweet Caroline,” “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Song Sung Blue,” and many, many other timeless hits, A Beautiful Noise is also a newer show. Making its Miami debut, it opened on Broadway in late 2022 and was created in collaboration with the songwriter. His writing takes center stage here: The show is structured around therapy sessions during which Diamond’s psychiatrist reads his lyrics to him.
The Great Gatsby
January 12 to 17, 2027
An era of elites misbehaving on the eve of financial collapse: Sound familiar? Of course, we’re referring to the Roaring Twenties — the age of The Great Gatsby. The story’s been told on the page and on the screen, but this is the first time the musical, which premiered in 2023 and debuted on Broadway the following year, will hit the stage in South Florida.
The Sound of Music
February 9 to 14, 2027
There are zero hills in South Florida (unless you count a couple of trash dumps off the highway), but you’ll feel like you’re in Austria when this beloved musical comes to the Arsht Center in early 2027, nearly 70 years after the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic debuted on Broadway in 1959 and more than six decades after the premiere of the film adaptation starring Julie Andrews.
Beauty and the Beast
March 30 to April 4, 2027
Beauty and the Beast is touring North America for the first time in more than 25 years, with the show returning to South Florida with a six-day run at the Arsht Center next Spring. The show features members of the original production’s creative team.
Jersey Boys
June 8 to 13
It’s been more than 20 years since Jersey Boys opened on Broadway, telling the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons through their music. The show was nominated for eight Tony Awards and won four, including Best Musical.
