Trayvon Martin Foundation Peace Walk

Saturday, February 6, the Trayvon Martin Foundation held a peace walk at Coral City Park in northwest Miami-Dade. The event kept the spotlight on the struggles the African-American community continues to face despite the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement as well as empower the lives of inner-city children. In attendance were Trayvon's mother Sybrina Fulton and father Tracy Martin, Uncle Luke, the family of Eric Garner, the family of Corey Jones, the family of Jordan Davis, Rep. Frederica Wilson, and Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert.
