From Skinny Louie opening in Little Havana to Cowy Burger opening its first permanent location in Wynwood, smash burgers are popping up all over Miami this year.
And just when we thought we saw two of the last smash burger spots open this year (Apocalypse BBQ just opened Lala's Burgers and Smash Bros just opened in Edgewater), Miami is getting one more at Soho Beach House.
Yes, the exclusive members-only club and hotel has just launched its new "Soho Smash Burger," which has replaced the house burger and the "Dirty Burger" that was once a member favorite.

Soho Beach House in Miami Beach now sells a smash burger called the "Soho Smash Burger," which has replaced the house burger and the "Dirty Burger."

All About the New Smash Burger at Soho: Members Thought the Others Were "Too Heavy"
Based on Soho Beach House member feedback over the years, the new smash burger is designed to be enjoyed all day and multiple times a week instead of just on special occasions.Feedback on the "Dirty Burger" from members was that it was too heavy for lunch, and some of the house burgers with fancy cheeses and caramelized onions, while delicious, were more for special occasions.
Thus, the smash burger was born. While Soho House is members only, here in Miami, everyone knows someone who is a member and can take advantage of sampling the smash burger.
Soho House prides itself in being a club for creatives and a home for its members to come together and belong, wherever they may be. In 1995, founder Nick Jones opened the first Soho House on London's Greek Street above his restaurant, Cafe Boheme. Soho House was named because it was located in a Georgian house in Soho. The logo reflects the layout of that first space with three floors across three interconnecting houses.
Today, it has "houses" all over the world, each designed to be characterful and comfortable and provide its members with a distinctive yet intimate experience with each visit. The houses have spaces for drinking, dining, relaxing, working, and exercising. The screening rooms feature a selection of new and classic films, and the rooftops, with and without pools, are member favorites. Its art collection has more than 8,000 curated works, which all play a prominent role in the designs of every house.
