Less than a year after opening in Wynwood, one of the hottest smash burger joints in Miami will open along the historic Calle Ocho in Little Havana.

Smash burger spot Skinny Louie will open on Calle Ocho on Friday, November 1, serving up the crisp and juicy smash burgers that have become a hit on social media and beyond.

"Bringing Skinny Louie to such a meaningful spot in Miami fills us with pride," says its founder, the eponymous Skinny Louie. "Little Havana's history and energy are inspiring, and we can't wait to share our love for a great burger with this vibrant community."

The Little Havana location will have the same simple menu, chill vibes, and service that Skinny Louie has become known for in the 305.

To kick things off during its grand opening event on Friday, November 1, the brand is giving away 100 burgers to the first guests at the grand opening beginning at 6 p.m.

Skinny Louie's simple smash burger menu, with the option to pair burgers with fries or a milkshake and to make it a double or a triple, brought back the nostalgia aspect to Miami's smash burger scene when it opened back in January.

Skinny Louie's expansion to Calle Ocho marks a significant step for the brand, especially as it comes just one year since its launch.

The brand has quickly garnered attention for its straightforward yet flavorful offerings, making New Times' "Best Smash Burgers in Miami" list and snagging "Best Late-Night Dining" honors in 2024.
