The last day of 2024 is almost here, and Miami is ready to wrap up the first quarter of the century. Naturally, you'll want to celebrate at a ritzy club, gritty warehouse-like room, big festival grounds, or any place a DJ can be squeezed into — all of which Miami has in spades.

Below are New Times' picks for the best New Year's Eve parties in Miami.

Check out the full listing of New Year's Eve events in Miami here. And for more New Year's Eve coverage, check out New Times' guides to where to watch fireworks and special dinners.

Calvin Harris at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach

Earlier this year, EDM producer Calvin Harris returned to Ultra Music Festival for the first time since 2013. Now, he will be back to close out 2024 in the Magic City. Headlining the Fontainebleau Miami Beach's New Year's Eve celebration, the dance-music powerhouse will perform on the resort's pool deck, bringing with him the EDM classics you love — think "Feel So Close," "I Need Your Love," "This is What You Came For." Tickets begin at $350, making this a decadent venture, going as high as $50,000 for the VIP experience. But if it's the EDM you crave and you have the means, watch one of the genre's best do it right. Calvin Harris. 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at Fontainebleau, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 800-548-8886; fontainebleau.com. Tickets cost $350 to $500 via universe.com.

Cardi B at E11even

Does time really exist inside a club that runs 24/7? It's hard to say, but the point is that E11even has had another dominant year in the industry. On Tuesday, rapper Cardi B will take the mic that night for a special midnight performance that will surely be as memorable as one can expect. In March, Cardi released "Enough (Miami)," her first solo song since 2021's "Up." She also collaborated with Shakira on the track "Puntería." Still missing in action is the rapper's follow-up to her 2018 and so far only album, Invasion of Privacy. Oh well, maybe 2025 will finally be the year. 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at E11even, 29 NE 11th St., Miami; 305-829-2911; 11miami.com. Tickets start at $300 via 11miami.tixr.com.

Central Cee at LIV

Attending LIV on New Year's Eve should be on everyone's bucket list. No local club can touch it when it comes to the kind of over-the-top celebration only it can deliver. For its New Year's Eve celebration, it will host British rapper Central Cee, with tickets starting at $150 and VIP tables requiring a minimum spend of up to $15,000 if you want to score your own piece of real estate in front of the stage. Cee had a great year, being one of the few British rappers who has found success across the pond. Some of that probably had to do with his very public breakup with TikToker Madeline Argy, but he also saw some success on the charts with "Band4Band," featuring Lil Baby, and his appearance on Ice Spice's "Did It First." 10 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $150 to $350 via universe.com.

D.Dan at Domicile

Forget the glitz and the glamour and opt for a high-voltage warehouse aesthetic. Domicile, which will finally move into its new permanent location next year, peddles an underground rave scene that borrows from the 1990s. It will host a New Year's Eve rager with Naomi Luna, Madison K B2B Kevin Bithell, and Low Earth Orbit at an undisclosed location. Headlining the evening is Korean-American, Berlin-based DJ D.Dan, a resident at the Mala Junta party in the German capital. Expect a visceral techno set to help you welcome the new year. 10 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at a secret location in Miami; instagram.com/domicile.miami. Tickets cost $42.44 to $48.49 via dice.fm.

Danny Avila at M2

Sometimes, to look forward, you need to step back, and celebrating 2025 in the historic space occupied by M2 is no better place for reflection. Built in 1935, it first housed a supper and vaudeville club before being converted into a motion picture theater a few years later. During the Wild West days of South Beach, it was home to Prince's nightclub, Glam Slam, and later the Opium Group's flagship venue, Mansion. Safe to say, the building has seen plenty of celebrations. On Tuesday, the tradition continues when Spain's house DJ/producer Danny Avila takes over the decks. Avila's bouncy house music, which borders closely on popular dance music, is a perfect way to celebrate the end of the year. 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at M2, 1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; m2miami.com. Tickets cost $30 to $3,750 via linkstub.com.

Dreamland NYE at ZeyZey

Queer event producer Jake Resnicow is back in Miami with his five-day-long Dreamland NYE festival. Running December 27-January 1, the series will host Purple Disco Machine and Dombresky, playing under his alias Disco Dom, at M2 (December 29) and a New Year's Day bash at Kygo's recently opened Palm Tree Club (January 1). On New Year's Eve, the party heads to ZeyZey in Little Haiti with Anne Louise and Liza Rodriguez as the evening's headliners and Michael Navarro, Spencer Huff, and Ryan McClure supporting. 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at ZeyZey, 353 NE 61st St., Miami Beach; dreamlandnye.com. Tickets cost $119 to $169 via seetickets.us.

Joseph Capriati, Dennis Cruz, and Ben Sterling at Club Space

It's the perfect plan. You spend New Year's Eve with your loved ones while nice and tucked in at home. You take a quick snooze, and around 3 a.m., you hightail it to Club Space for a rager that goes well past sunrise. Some of tech house's finest are taking the reins on the terrace, including Italy's Joseph Capraiti, Spain's Dennis Cruz, England's Ben Sterling, and Miami's hometown hero, Ms. Mada. The night and day event should be the status quo: 18-plus hours of legends and titans spinning techno and house on 11th Street. New Year's Eve. 10 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at Club Space, 34 NE 11th St., Miami; 786-357-6456; clubspace.com. Tickets cost $45 to $200 via dice.fm.

Jungle DJ Set at Palm Tree Club

Neo-soul funk band Jungle delivered an unforgettable set at III Points earlier this year. Now, band members Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland will be back in the Magic City to close out the year at the recently opened Palm Tree Club. (R.I.P. Shuckers!) Expect the pair to deliver a heavy dose of house, disco, and soul with a set of nostalgia-filled jams. Tickets aren't cheap, starting at $329, but at least it includes a five-hour premium open bar. Make sure to stock up on Pedialyte for New Year's Day. 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at Palm Tree Club, 1819 79th Street Cswy., North Bay Village; 786-485-2020; palmtreeclubmiami.com. Tickets cost $329 to $459 via posh.vip.

New Year's Eve at Factory Town

Few cities can have a full-on music festival on New Year's Eve; fewer can hold a two-day event with three stages for eight hours each night. Hialeah's Factory Town is closing the year at its homestead after a solid year of parties and concerts. On December 27, it will host Lilly Palmer, Clapton, Walker & Royce, Clapton, Slugg, AK Sports, and Black V Neck. Four days later, on New Year's Eve night, trance legends Above & Beyond alone are worth the price of admission, but the night also includes sets by Nora En Pure, Maddix, and Wakyin, amongst others. 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday, December 27, and Tuesday, December 31, at Factory Town, 4800 NW 37th Ave., Hialeah; factorytown.com. Tickets cost $50 to $160 via dice.fm.

Mose X Code at Kemistry

Fort Lauderdale dance club Kemistry will deliver to the masses a fun-for-all rave to bring in 2025. There will be the trance-meets-techno duo Morse X Code with support from Edgar V, Ollie Sanders, and Andre Skye on the electronic side. Kemitsry's patio stage will switch the tempo with old-school hip-hop, freestyle, and Miami bass to bring the crowd back in time. The club boasts a hefty laser production, LED panels, disco balls, and an elevated stage for the DJ. 10 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at Kemistry, 307 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale; 954-282-9169; kemistrynightclub.com. Admission is free before midnight with RSVP; tickets cost $26.45 to $102.50 via dice.fm.

Steve Lawler at Astra

British house legend Steve Lawler returns to Miami for an exceptional rooftop performance at Astra in Wynwood. The rooftop's greenery pairs well with Lawler's house blend that he has mastered for the last 30 years. You can expect handcrafted drinks, fresh beats, and tasty bites without feeling like being stuffed into a club. Fireworks will set off in the night sky, coming from all directions, making the power of house music feel even more ethereal. 10 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, at Astra, 2121 NW Second Ave., Miami; 786-602-3449; astra.com. Tickets cost $80 to $200 via eventbrite.com.
