Yesterday, motorists on Biscayne Boulevard around 59th Street who saw a burly, tattooed guy in MC Hammer pants wielding a baseball bat might have thought it was just another day in pimp city. But that dude was The Rock, and he was on the set of the New Times article-based movie Pain and Gain alongside co-star Mark Wahlberg.

Many of the crew we saw looked like gente de Miami, so gracias a Hollywood for bringing some entertainment jobs to the city. And The Rock wasn't too busy to take pictures with a giggling crowd of chicks who spent their lunch break watching him film. Check out this video of the scene.
