Forget boring lectures and tedious homework. Class at Concrete Beach Brewery has one purpose: to learn about beer and drink lots of it. Brew House Rock is back tonight, meaning Concrete Beach’s social hall manager and “certified beer geek” Jesse Morris will teach his monthly educational series beginning at 8 p.m. March’s theme is “incredible yeasts and where to find them.” Guests will learn about yeasts – the building blocks of beer and every brewer’s favorite microorganism. Slow Food Miami’s Snail Social at Apeiro Kitchen & Bar
Head to midtown’s Apeiro for Slow Food Miami’s seventh Snail Social. From 6 to 8 p.m., nibble on complimentary small bites courtesy of executive chef Anthony Sitek. Offerings include crispy eggplant with Manchego cheese; lamb sliders with pickled onion, feta, and tangy tzatziki; and smoky grilled Spanish octopus with crispy potato and red chili. Kaiseki Dinner at Bazi
Miami Beach’s Asian-fusion eatery will host a monthly Kaiseki dinner, with its first installation taking place this Wednesday night. Kaiseki traditionally consists of a sequence of small arranged dishes that balance taste, texture, and aesthetic. Bazi’s will feature ten to 12 courses designed by chef Michael Pirolo. Every course will be paired with libations ranging from sake to Asian teas, courtesy of Bazi’s beverage director, William Rivas.
