Another protest is set to take place in Miami this weekend to call out President Donald Trump.

The 50501 (Fifty-Fifty-One) movement is holding a nationwide day of action on Saturday, April 19, to protest the Trump administration and the president's unelected right-hand man, Elon Musk. While some people will be in the streets in cities around the country, others will organize food drives, volunteer at shelters, and host teach-ins. More than 500 protests are scheduled to take place nationwide on Saturday.

In wake of the nationwide "Hands Off" protests earlier this month to push back against the administration's ongoing hardline immigration agenda, people will be gathering in downtown Miami on Saturday in the latest wave of protests. Local Miami partners like Moms for Libros, Prism, the People's Progressive Caucus of Miami-Dade, United Teachers of Dade, Bans Off Miami, and the Indivisible Miami-Dade Action Team will have booths at the event on Saturday.

"This isn't just a protest — It's a full-scale mobilization," organizers from @50501miami wrote on Instagram. "They want us silent? We're showing up with pots, pans, and purpose."
