From November 2 through May 10, 2025, Resistance will have weekly Saturday events with prominent acts like Carl Cox, Miss Monique, Sasha + Digweed, Stephan Bodzin, and Vintage Culture. So far, parties have been announced for November and December, with a stacked opening party on Saturday, November 2, featuring performances by Mahmut Orhan, Davide Squillace B2B Matthias Tanzmann, and Township Rebellion.
The November calendar continues on Saturday, November 9, with Korolova on headlining duties, supported by Hosh and Fur Coat. On Saturday, November 16, Patrick Topping will make his Resistance Miami debut, with additional performances from Bruno Furlan and m.O.N.R.O.E. Danish producer Kölsch, with support from Kasia and Adam Sellouk, will close out the month on Saturday, November 23.
In December, the melodic techno duo Mind Against will take over during Miami Art Week and be joined by Denis Horvat and Olympe on Saturday, December 7. The year's last event will be on Saturday, December 28, with a secret special guest.
More acts will be announced throughout the season, with no news yet on who will appear during Miami Music Week.
Ultra debuted its Resistance brand back in 2015 as an avenue for its festival attendees craving a darker sound, with stage takeovers and lineups featuring techno and house music pioneers like Carl Cox and Nina Kraviz. Resistance held a three-season event series in Ibiza before moving to Miami Beach last year.
Its home at M2 gives the Resistance's team a 35,000-square-foot club space, in addition to the building's nearly 40-year history on the scene.
If last year is any indication, attendees should expect two floors of prime clubbing. This includes a pounding sound system, curtain dancers, and a spider web-like lighting production. It can seem like M2's entire roof can light up to the music while laser beams project over the audience.
Last week, Ultra Music Festival announced its phase one lineup for its 25th anniversary. Acts include a mixture of underground sounds like Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, and Four Tet, drum 'n' bass talent from Subtronics, and EDM fare via Axwell and Zedd.
