Miami, meet Dude Skywalker, a trio that's "time-traveled from the year 3046 to bring you dance music of the future."

"Upon arrival in this dimension, we dropped our first tune, 'To the Floor,' which blew up virtually overnight with support from local DJs, an array of Internet blogs, and lots of international SoundCloud love," the Dudes tell Crossfade. "We are explorers of sound with no regard for genres, time, or space -- just that good shit."

This week, homeboys are about to blow up even bigger as they drop their free Feel Good EP, with supporting remixes from some hotly tipped fellow locals like Lazaro Casanova, Panic Bomber, and Chalk.

"Our friends over at Nightdrive approached us with the idea for the project," the Dudes explain. "They asked us to make an original track that represents the current renaissance going on in Miami's music scene. We set out to make an uplifting yet downtempo track with a vibrant soundscape and a futuristic bass line that you can't help but groove too. And that's just the original mix. The Feel Good EP encompasses five amazing remixes, each creating such a different rendition of the original that a very wide spectrum of today's underground music is represented."

Dude Skywalker will also debut their live show for Nightdrive, Miami's newly resurrected Scaramouche disco party at The Vagabond on Saturday alongside NYC disco-house sensations Midnight Magic.

"Our vision with the live show was to make it a jam party that combines an extended DJ set and live instrumentation," the Dudes say. "For Scaramouche, we have some friends and local musicians coming out to throw down with us as well. We'll be rocking MIDI synths, guitars, and a live percussion section. After the planned live portion, we'll delve into a deeper, more after-hours-type DJ set to close out the night while continuing to bring in spontaneous sounds and instruments."

Sounds like disco is back, ladies and gents. Back from the future, that is.
