A Taylor Swift-themed billboard supporting Amendment 4, which aims to protect abortion access in Florida, will be displayed along a busy route to the Taylor Swift concert in Miami this weekend.
The youth-led nonprofit Florida Student Power Network announced that it has commissioned a billboard to be displayed off I-95 northbound near NW 166th Street at the Golden Glades interchange. That’s about two miles from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, where Swift stops for three nights this weekend (October 18-20) on her Eras Tour.
The cotton candy-colored billboard, which will go live today at 4 p.m., reads, “Swifties, time to shake off Florida’s abortion ban. Vote yes on Amendment 4 this November 5th to protect reproductive rights!”
“It’s time for Florida to shake off the abortion bans that are costing our lives, our futures, and our bodily autonomy,” Nathalie Aburto, spokesperson for Florida Student Power Network and the artist of the billboard, wrote in a statement. “Women should be able to make choices about their bodies with their doctors, their families, and their faiths, not politicians. We are taking our power back by voting Yes on 4 this election.”
In a press release, Florida Student Power Network noted that this billboard goes up as Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has threatened to prosecute TV stations over pro-Amendment 4 ads.

Amendment 4, AKA the “Right to Abortion Initiative,” would enshrine abortion access in Florida’s state constitution. The referendum itself is short and to the point: “No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider.”
Fetal viability is estimated to be around 24 weeks of pregnancy – the same standard once allowed under Roe v. Wade.
