The rap crew’s global cultural influence was cemented the moment they dropped the atomic boulder of musicality known as 1984’s Licensed To Ill.

Everybody from Russel Simmons to Q-Tip, Boy George, Atmosphere, Billie Joe Armstrong, and Fred Durst will be crying tears in their beers tonight over the loss of MCA. And the proof of how much the world loved this Beastie Boy is all over Twitter.
