WTF, Pepsi?

We told you yesterday about PepsiCo’s decision to partner up with the estate of Michael Jackson for a “global marketing push.”

Like a homeless man recycling aluminum cans for a ten-cent refund, the carbonated conglomerate that nearly killed Jacko in 1984 is milking the King of Pop’s lifeless corpse for every last dollar.

Quite frankly, the thought of MJ’s image on the side of our soft drink is unsettling. But at least there’s plenty of music-related things to do this weekend to forget about it.

We’re thankful for you. Are you thankful for us?

We feel thankful for our staff and for the privilege of fulfilling our mission to be an unparalleled source of information and insight in Miami. We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community.
Help us continue giving back to Miami.
