Stop sleeping.
“The Miami scene is huge in my eyes,” says Dope Entertainment cofounder Tariq Cherif, “and somehow, it’s still slept on.”
But he and business partner Matt Zingler got a plan for taking the 305 to the world. It’s the Rolling Loud Music Festival, set to turn up on February 28 at Soho Studios in Wynwood.
The fest’s lineup is stacked. There are underground Miami rap stars like Denzel Curry, Pouya, and Yung Simmie. And there are big, bold names like Action Bronson, Schoolboy Q, A$AP Ferg, Juicy J, and Curren$y too.
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $16,750 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
Just check the cut for the full Rolling Loud roster.
