Two South Florida restaurants have landed on Yelp's top restaurants list for 2025, and one of them even made the top ten.

Yelp has just released its annual list of Top 100 U.S. Restaurants for 2025, and out of bazillion businesses to choose from across the region, it wasn't the flashiest spots that got the attention and high praises of Yelp users — it was the old-school, mom-and-pop shops that made the most impact.

Coming in ninth on the list is none other than Amy's French Bakery & Bistro in Pompano Beach, Florida, followed by Twice Removed in Fort Lauderdale, landing spot no. 52 on the list.

Amy's French Bakery & Bistro in Pompano Beach, Florida

The husband-and-wife-run bistro and bakery in Pompano Beach that serves breakfast all day landed ninth on the list, and for good reason.

According to Yelp, the popular bistro and bakery has a nearly perfect rating on the platform (4.8 stars based on nearly 500 reviews), and is loved for its charming atmosphere, coziness, and great omelettes and pastries. "Looking for great all-day breakfast? This cozy spot, run by husband-and-wife duo Laurent and Sylvia Demoss (from the French Riviera), is known for made-to-order omelets, fresh-baked pastries, and a 'charming, authentic French atmosphere,'" explains Yelp for its selection.

Amy's is popular on Yelp for its crepes stuffed with a housemade mixture of apples and cinnamon, its buttered French toast topped with bananas and melted Nutella, and a selection of "unbelievable" croissants. Yelpers also write that Amy’s menu is "C’est formidable!" (It’s great!). A Yelper reviewer even wrote, "I’ve never had an omelet so perfect."

In addition to Amy's great breakfast options, those looking for lunch can dig into its "wonderful baguette sandwiches" and salads. While its best to get to Amy's early to avoid the long lines, Yelpers all agree a visit to the French bakery and bistro is well worth it.

Twice Removed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Fort Lauderdale hole-in-the-wall cocktail bar and gastropub Twice Removed landed no. 52 on Yelp's coveted list.

According to Yelper reviewers, they love the spot for its friendly and observant staff, wonderful cocktails, and even more delicious gastropub eats. One enthusiastic reviewer wrote, "The food was excellent... the truffle fries, as someone else reviewed, were so good and not over powered by the truffle. The sliders were so good. They had this charred taste and sweetness from the caramelized onion. The pernil tacos were probably some of the best I have ever had! The flavors were on point. For dessert we had the fried Oreos and they were so good and so fresh!"

With 4.6 stars out of 262 reviews, it's safe to say we get it, Yelp.
