One of Brickell's longest-running restaurants has closed its doors — and no one seems to know why. PM Fish & Steak House, the opulent 200-seat restaurant tucked into the One Broadway complex, has ceased operations without notice.

Once considered one of Miami's best Argentinian restaurants, its last Yelp review dates back to November 2024, while its final Instagram post appeared in December 2024. Though its website is still active, attempts to call the Brickell location are met with an error message: "Your call cannot be completed as dialed." No official statement has been made by ownership either.

The abrupt silence leaves longtime diners puzzled. Since opening in 2012, PM made a name for itself by merging the Argentine steakhouse tradition with global, seafood-forward dishes. Think Wagyu tenderloin and provoleta served alongside salmon tartare, ceviche, and veal carpaccio. The restaurant was known as much for its grilled meats and souffléed potatoes as it was for its jaw-dropping, multimillion-dollar buildout, which was rumored to have cost around $2 million more than a decade ago.

Named after Puerto Madero, a waterfront neighborhood in Buenos Aires, PM's Brickell location was the only one in the United States. Its parent company, however, continues to operate several restaurants across Mexico. As of this week, those locations appear to remain open.

The closure ends over a decade of business in Miami's downtown area, where PM catered to power lunchers daily and a stylish crowd by night. As New Times' former food critic wrote in 2012, it was "very Miami."

Until management confirms, the fate of PM's Miami chapter remains a mystery. What's clear is that Miami has lost one of its more dramatic dining experiences — a place where black cod and skirt steak shared menu space and where a simple dinner could stretch long into the a.m. hours.
