What kind
of music will be played in South Beach clubs? What sort of dances will people be
doing? How much will a drink cost?

The current trend
associated with the desire to live longer, coupled with the new discoveries and
technology in the fields of health and medicine, clearly indicates that by the
year 2100, what used to be old will be young. Octogenarian status will be the
rule, not the exception. Social and recreational activities will reflect these
demographic realities. Suffice it to say, it is not what kind of music will be
played, but how it will be played.

In South Beach clubs, music will be
piped into memory rooms, where people will listen to the music associated with
the time most memorable in their life. During this time you won1t be able to buy
drinks, but you will be able to buy mood capsules; i.e., ecstasy, happiness,
melancholy, powerful, excited, et cetera. There will be no common dance. The
dance will be associated with the period of life that you choose and the capsule
of choice for the evening.

What will be the hippest Miami-Dade
neighborhood, what will it look like, and how much will it cost to live
there?

Down under. What will it look like? It will be a city
constructed beneath the surface of Biscayne Bay in the shape of a star. All of
the community enterprises will be at the center of the star, i.e., schools,
business, government, arts and entertainment, et cetera. Neighborhoods will be in
the star points. How much will it cost to live there? Prices will be based on the
square inch, not the square foot.

Will your favorite South
Florida restaurant of today still exist? And will the clientele
change?

No. Food consumption will be regulated by capsule, so
there will be no clientele.

Imagine yourself sitting in
a canoe on Shark River slough. What do you see?

Desolation,
contamination. Mother Nature has been destroyed.

When the urban
Miami dweller of 2100 wants to take a walk in a park, where will he or she go?

Walks in the park will be simulated. From your home you will
be able to digitally pick your park, time of day, the emotion you want to
experience, and the person or people you want to be with.

How
long will it take to travel from Miami to Havana, and how will folks make the
trip? Ditto from Kendall to downtown.

Five to ten minutes
maximum to Havana through Jetson-compressed underwater tubes. There will be no
downtown; it will be down under.
