Canadian superstar the Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) will transform Hard Rock Stadium into his own cinematic universe, bringing the After Hours Til Dawn tour to South Florida for two nights — Friday, August 15, and Saturday, August 16. Joining him are rapper Playboi Carti and producer Mike Dean, setting the tone for a high-energy ride.

Fresh off the release of his sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow — the final chapter in the trilogy that began with 2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM — the Weeknd is delivering a stadium experience that blends futuristic visuals, theatrical pacing, and a setlist spanning his entire career.

If recent shows are any indication, Miami fans can expect an epic, 40-song journey that kicks off with the atmospheric R&B  track "The Abyss" and ends with the energetic "Moth to a Flame," his collaboration with electronic supergroup Swedish House Mafia.

While every show has its own twists, fans can expect a career-spanning mix in between: heart-pounding anthems, deep cuts for day-one listeners, tape recordings, and his newer tracks.

And the surprises don’t stop at the song choices. This tour has been praised for its theatrical and cinematic influence — think striking costume changes, masks, eerie lighting sequences, choreography, and moments where Tesfaye steps off the main stage to interact with fans.

And to keep on adding drama to an already striking tour, Tesfaye has hinted that Hurry Up Tomorrow might be the last album he releases under the Weeknd moniker. If this truly is the closing act of that larger-than-life persona, Miami’s back-to-back stadium shows could be among the last opportunities to experience him at the peak of this era’s spectacle.
