Independent Journalism in Miami Needs You
We need to raise $10,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
Fridays and Saturdays, Soho Lounge
Ryan Evans is one of the signature personalities in the downtown/Design District club circuit, a DJ/scenester spreading the rock-dance gospel. Starting out at Revolver, he has spun New Wave hits at Vice, landed a few gigs at Rokbar last year, and has journeyed out to Delano Hotel, Mynt, and numerous other nightlife hot spots. Nowadays, he’s a resident DJ at Soho Lounge’s two new parties, Cinematic and Metro, ladling out tunes by Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, and other edgy bands for enlightened hipsters. But don’t be surprised to see him behind the decks at one of your favorite clubs; he’s a traveling man.
