Jimmy Levy, Florida Man and erstwhile American Idol contestant turned flat earth-believing gospel singer, is spending time with onetime presidential candidate, anti-vaxxer, and now Donald Trump surrogate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. A series of photos on Levy's Instagram show the Miami native on a boat in Marina del Rey, California, with Kennedy and Jessica Sutta, a former member of the Pussycat Dolls, whom Kennedy has called "a medical freedom warrior."
"A gospel singer, a pop superstar, and an environmental lawyer come together to fight for liberty and justice for all 🇺🇸," Levy wrote on Instagram.
Another post captures Levy sitting next to Kennedy with the caption, "Defeating Fat-Phobia and Making America Healthy Again 🇺🇸."
Before rising to prominence in right-wing circles, Levy appeared briefly on American Idol's Season 18 in 2020. (He passed the audition with his rendition of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game," only to be eliminated during Hollywood Week.) He subsequently turned to Christianity and got baptized, saying he'd witnessed people in the entertainment industry "doing dark witchcraft." He became a gospel singer and threw his support behind former President Donald Trump.
"I realized Satan was real," Levy told Fox News.
Since then, Levy has promoted far-right and QAnon-linked conspiracy theories. He has spread the debunked Pizzagate conspiracy theory that Democratic party members were running a sex trafficking ring in a Washington, D.C., pizza shop and called the COVID-19 vaccine a form of human genocide.
He also claims that the Earth is flat, that the government controls the weather, and that dinosaurs did not exist. Most recently, Levy called Hurricane Milton "a deliberate inside attack."
In 2023, Levy released a song with MAGA rapper Forgiato Blow (real name Kurt Jantz), encouraging people to boycott Target following the release of its LGBTQ+ pride collection. He then claimed Instagram and Apple were censoring his "Boycott Target" song.
A few months later, Levy's portable charger exploded in his backpack after he boarded a flight to Fort Lauderdale from New York.
He posted the mishap on social media, deeming it "a spiritual attack from the pits of hell."
Last month, when his "MAHA" haircut went "viral in the left-wing media" and he was outed as a flat-earther, he welcomed all of his nicknames.
"I am a proud flat earther, Trump supporter, conspiracy singer, right wing rapper, Christian nationalist, Jewish supr3macist, MAGAT!" Levy wrote on Instagram. "KEEP ALL OF THE NAMES COMING."
It should not be entirely surprising that Levy and Kennedy are pals considering Kennedy's history of spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories such as Wi-Fi causes cancer and antidepressants led to the rise in school shootings.
Top-flight beard, though.
