Juvia, the good-looking joint in Miami Beach, has received a nomination for Best Restaurant Design or Renovation in North America, in the category of 76 seats and over.
Also, Michael Mina, who owns Bourbon Steak in Aventura, will be inducted into the Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America.
Semifinalists were announced in February. South Florida received several nods, including Khong River House for Best New Restaurant and the Broken Shaker for Outstanding Bar Program.
Now, the list has been whittled down to just McInnis and Goldsmith, who have both been nominated in the past. Winners will be announced Monday, May 6, at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall in New York City.
Previous winners in Miami include Michelle Bernstein, Michael Schwartz, and Norman Van Aken.
