On this day, shops display or post sheets of flash tattoos — pre-drawn designs that are priced and ready to be inked. Art is commonly centered on luck and superstition, often featuring smaller, simpler designs. Depending on the shop, individual artists might also create custom designs they hope to tattoo, which is a great way to become familiar with an artist’s style.
