Whether you’re itching for new ink or starting small for your first piece, tattoo shops take advantage of the holiday — which happens at least once each year (and three times in 2026!) — to showcase fresh flash designs and court new customers.
This month, Friday the 13th aligns with Valentine’s Day weekend, so tattoo studios are catering to both holidays. A couple of shops are also welcoming customers into new spaces.

This shop regularly hosts flash fundraisers for organizations that support causes such as gender affirming care and domestic and outdoor workers. On Friday, they’ll whip out flash sheets customized by three of the shop’s artists for Friday the 13th. Great Oak Tattoo Studio
While other shops are pairing Friday the 13th flash sales with Valentine’s Day deals, this shop is saving the party for February 14. Great Oak will offer arm and leg tattoos for $100 to $150 (cash is preferred). The shop will also do single ear piercings for $40. Iris Tattoo & Piercings is also prioritizing Valentine’s Day deals. You don’t need to rush to the shop on Friday — this studio’s deals go on all month long. Throughout February, spin the shop’s gumball tattoo machine to select $100 love-inspired designs. Kame House Tattoos
Most shops offer Friday the 13th deals for tattoos and piercings, but at Kame House, you can even get tooth gems. Six tattoo artists will hold down the fort this year. Tats range from $80 to $250, with an option for a second, simple design for $50. The first 20 people to walk into Panda Tattoo on Friday will get the best deal on this list: a $20 tattoo. After that, prices start at $100 on a first-come, first-served basis. Did you know there’s a Friday the 13th next month, too? Thorn & Thistle do, so they planned for a monthlong flash event starting this Friday and running through mid-March.
