  • Rasin’ Cane at South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center: Starring Jasmine Guy, this celebration of the Harlem Renaissance combines text, song, music, movement, and imagery.
  • Pirate Island at Miami Children’s Museum: Kids can attend Pirate Academy, where lessons include how to talk like Jack Sparrow, tie knots like Captain Hook, and find treasure like Long John Silver. And don’t forget the plank-walking, cannon-blasting, yo-ho-hos, shiver-me-timbers, and treasure maps.
