$10,000

Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford can have a snack to go with their multiple glasses of morning Chardonnay when Pincho Factory’s Nedal Ahmad makes an appearance on the Today Show Tuesday, March 25.

Ahmad will be on the show’s special March Madness episode, appearing in the fourth (and tipsiest) hour of the show, somewhere between 10 and 11 a.m., cooking a special Pincho Factory burger that the home audience will have chosen by vote.

Beginning March 18, viewers will be able to select which Pincho Factory burger they’d like to see demonstrated by voting online at today.com/klgandhoda. The choices are the frita, the Pincho, the fritanga, and the toston. A few days later, you’ll be able to print out the winning burger’s recipe so you can cook along with Nedal, Kathie Lee, and Hoda in their “Cook With Us” segment March 25.

Of course, you can’t have a burger without fries, so Miami’s breakout burger star will also show America how to make Cajun fries and bacon cheddar fries (which made Short Order’s top ten list of Miami’s most unusual fries).

What to drink? We’ll have whatever Kathie Lee and Hoda are having.

Not only is the Pincho Factory chef/owner thrilled to be cooking for the ladies of morning talk, but he’s also looking forward to his first time in the Big Apple. “I’ve never been to New York,” he tells Short Order, “so I’m extremely excited and a little bit nervous. Miami has been singing our praises for quite some time, so I can’t deny that I’m thrilled to be able to showcase Pincho Factory to a national audience. I don’t like watching myself on TV, but I’m happy for those who plan to watch it.”
