Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall has found himself on the wrong side of the law yet again. This time, it’s for allegedly not paying a hefty cab fair. Marshall was not arrested in the incident, but was handcuffed and put in the back of a Broward County Sheriff’s deputy car.
Marshall caught the cab on Monday morning at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach and intended to have the driver take him to his home in Southwest Ranches. But Marshall apparently needed to take a bathroom break, and had the driver stop at Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
An airport seems like an odd, and not to mention inconvenient, place to take a potty break, but those NFL players always seem to be peeing in the strangest places.
Marshall never got back in the cab after his FTL bathroom stop, though, and never paid the driver. Instead he got in another cab.

The original driver called a dispatcher who notified the second driver. That driver then drove Marshall to Port Everglades. That’s when police arrived.
Marshall told police he had argued with the original driver about his ride home, and had gotten frustrated.
After being handcuffed Marshall agreed to pay both drivers (which is chump change when you’re the NFL’s highest paid receiver). All parties eventually shook hands and Marshall was released.
