Wow. Do we like this new look for the Postmarks? They were always pretty low-key in the hair/make-up/costume department before, but their new makeover is sharp. They look like mod assassins! Actually, frontwoman Tim looks more than a bit like a brunette Francoise Hardy here. It’s appropriate, since the bandmates are avowed Francophiles as well as Anglophiles.

Still, if the band looks slightly more aggressive in this photo, perhaps it fits with the new direction in sound it’s taken for its upcoming third full-length. Dubbed Memoirs at the End of the World, the album’s due out on Unfiltered Records on August 25, and is said to be markedly darker.
