Has anyone seen Molly? She needs to register to vote in time for election season.

Good thing Insomniac and Rock the Vote have teamed up to push that party girl and all her 18-and-up friends off the dance floor and into the voting booths this November.

Spin the Vote is a new national voter registration project making appearances at all Insomniac events, including Identity Fest in Miami.

The mission: Get scene kids raving about politics.

Editor's Picks

Spin the Vote will be standing by next week at Bayfront Park‘s Klipsch Amphitheater to sign up all legal-age voters who can keep their eyes straight enough to fill out the forms.

But registering on-site is only the first step; Spin the Vote is hustling to engage young voters online as well. Through the fall election season, the EDM-inspired campaign will share informative videos and political messages from famous DJs and scene heroes. After all, these kids need to hear it from someone they actually give a shit about.

This project is an interesting move for a musical genre that’s usually devoid of any political message, but it definitely makes sense. Because, like, #YOLO … So you better get involved and make your vote count, right?
