Candytopia at Aventura Mall
What do Prince, Frank Sinatra, a unicorn, and the Sphinx have in common? They’re all on display – in candy form – at Candytopia, the sugar-centric pop-up at Aventura Mall. The “experiential adventure,” which runs through the holiday season, features sculptures and framed art made from real candy. The mini theme park also has an interactive app that can send pictures from various displays right to your email. And, of course, like every theme park, your Candytopia journey ends at a gift shop where you can buy branded T-shirts, pens, and, of course, candy. 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through January 26 at Treats Food Hall at Aventura Mall, 19501 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura; candytopia.com. Tickets cost $20 to $28 via candytopia.com. Minnie’s Disco Courtesy of Minnie’s Disco

Chef Brad Kilgore will offer light bites and classic cocktails while funky dance tunes play into the night. 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday through Saturday at Bar Alter, 223 NW 23rd St., Miami; instagram.com. Where to Get Bottles of Coquito in Miami
The Magic City celebrates the holidays with coquito. Sometimes called Puerto Rican eggnog, the recipe varies by household, but traditionally it’s made with coconut cream, condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and a healthy helping of rum. Though no Puerto Rican holiday gathering is complete without a few bottles of this delightfully sweet beverage, Miami has adopted it as its own. Find coquito at local restaurants, bakeries, and bars, from La Cocina to La Placita. Here are the best places to buy it.
