- Cookie’s Kid at Light Box at Goldman Warehouse: A solo dance choreographed and danced by Miami-based Rosie Herrera.
Saturday:
- Noah’s Ark at Northwestern High School: Orchestra Miami performs Benjamin Britten’s opera based on the biblical tale.
- TAZ Closing Reception at Museum of Contemporary Art: MOCA closes its first exhibition TAZ, short for Temporary Autonomous Zones, on Saturday.
Sunday:
- META 4: Endurance at Opa-locka Arts and Recreation Center: The Endurance exhibition celebrates Haiti’s vast contributions to humanity and features artists Asser Saint-Val, Guy Syllien, James Brutus, and Nzingah Oniwosan, in addition to filmmakers Dudley Alexis and Jason Fitzroy Jeffers.
- Chihuly at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden: The exhibition of Chihuly glass around the iconic garden closes on Sunday. Catch it before it’s gone.
