Tonight’s debate, held just 40 minutes to our north at Lynn University, is fiercely guarded so don’t even think of showing up and sneaking in… unless you enjoy being carried away by a dozen secret service agents.
It’s much better to stay in Miami and watch the show from one of the many bars and restaurants that will be showing the debate.
If you’ve really got a dog in the fight, both the Romney and Obama camps have set up “official” watch parties tonight, so pick your candidate and head out accordingly.
If you’re a Romney Supporter
Join fellow Romney supporters for a debate watch party at Fritz & Franz Bierhaus in Coral Gables. Toast to Mitt with a selection of over 20 German and Austrian beers, though Mitt himself might want to stick with a Sprite. Obama for America is hosting a party at the newly opened South Street. Starting at 7 p.m., enjoy Obamatinis and Progressive Punch at special prices before settling in for the debate.
