Morgans on the Beach, the sister restaurant of the original Morgans in Wynwood, will officially open its doors Friday for lunch after a soft opening tonight.

Staying with the dining-in-a-house feel of the original, Morgans on the Beach takes over the former Joe Allen space, adding its trademark lavender color scheme to the interior, along with glass chandeliers and mirrors throughout. According to restaurant manager Patricia Ferraro, the décor “looks like the inside of a woman’s bedroom.” Unfortunately, there’s no outdoor space at the new location; for that you’ll need to head to the original.

The menu — filled with crowd-pleasing apps, salads, sandwiches, and mains along with an expanded pizza selection — stays true to the original as well. SoBe brunch lovers, rejoice — the Morgans brunch you know and love will also be served on weekends.

Along with Pubbelly’s two upcoming sister restaurants, Morgans on the Beach will join the fastest-growing stretch of restaurants in South Beach. Offering lunch, dinner, drinks, and weekend brunch, Morgans on the Beach will surely be a great multipurpose addition to the neighborhood.
