Will El Chacal de la Trompeta play her off the stage mid-speech? Will she be forced to endure questions while strapped up to the dreaded El Detector de Mentiras? Might she compete for a dance party crown in Póngale Ritmo?
Sadly, the answer is probably no to all these burning questions. But the very fact that Michelle Obama will appear alongside Don Francisco this weekend on an episode of Sábado Gigante means some very odd worlds colliding for Miami TV viewers.

The First Lady will skip the comedy routines and singing contests in favor of Francisco’s long-running Conversando con los Niños skit, where she’ll talk up her national “Let’s Move!” exercise program.
She’ll also cook some healthy meals with the kids and their families in an on-set kitchen, the Miami Herald reports.
None of this means that El Chacal can’t make a strategic appearance to really welcome Michelle Obama to the world’s favorite three-hour Spanish language variety show, though. Just sayin’!
