As much as you might like to deny it, you’ve probably caught at least one of these shows while flipping channels: Project Runway, Fashion Star, Launch My Line, Remodeled, Running in Heels, 24-Hour Catwalk, America’s Next Top Model. Fashion is unavoidable in the media, and Miami is taking notice.
StyleWeek Resort, a company that helps launch the careers of emerging fashion designers, is supported by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Native Miami designer (and Fashion Institute of Technology graduate) Alessandra Gold is at the helm, bringing all of the frills of fashion to the Magic City, and today’s inaugural event is open to the public, so you can see it all for yourself.
