Friday’s Heart Happening benefit for the Lotus House Women’s Shelter at the Margulies Warehouse offered a great mix of young, old, rich, broke, boisterous, reserved, and overall positive people. They ate, they drank, and they enjoyed great art all for the sake of a good cause. The performance theme lent the event an easy looseness as over 40 creatives danced and interacted through the various spaces.

Yes, a girl with an iPod did dance past while some old people laughed, before you sewed a rose on some lady’s dress somewhere in between the meditation and the conga line. Here are some more pictures of the night or check out our full slideshow by clicking here

There was a percussion group drumming the night away out front.

There was a meditation room. These dudes spent all night helping people breathe and jam to noise.
