Located directly on Coral Way right off 22nd Avenue, Jada Coles blends just enough comfort to be deemed “laid back” with just enough quirkiness to be deemed charming. Couches are nooked towards the front of the space, while mix and minglers can sit at the high tops next to the pool table or float around the bar. Coles’ small size makes for a friendly environment; it’s the kind of place where the bartender chats you up about the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry and fellow drinkers introduce themselves without being creepy. The music jumps from Counting Crows to Fifty Cent.
Jada Coles’ happy hour includes half off everything, meaning a Jack & Coke is only $4 and a Heineken is $3. Their menu has recently changed and has not been printed, but the bartender insists they will keep some of their previous Mexican specials.
Hang out until later in the evening and catch karaoke on Mondays, comedy on Tuesdays, or live music on Fridays. Sneakers, caps, and good local vibes are all welcome.
