As Crossfade announced last month, New Times is partnering with Gulfstream Park in a Battle of the Bands; the winner gets to play at the upcoming Langerado music festival. Nine finalists have been chosen. They’ll square off, four and five at a time, respectively, on February 7 and February 13. A winner each day will be determined by a panel of judges and audience reaction. The winners of each individual day will go head to head for the judges on February 27. Times for all three competitions are 9 to 11 p.m., and admission is free. Follow the jump to get a quick breakdown of who’s in the running.

New Times’ Langerado Battle of the Bands. February 7, 13, and 27 at Gulfstream Park, 901 S. Federal Hwy., Hallandale. Shows take place from 9 to 11 p.m. each date, and admission is free.
