Ebony magazine has produced a powerful series of covers for its September issue in the wake of George Zimmerman’s “not guilty” verdict. Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and other celebrities appears in gray hoodies with their sons behind the headline “We Are Trayvon.” The Martin family also appears on the subscribers cover.
The night the verdict was read Wade responded on Twitter worrying about his sons’ future in a state where people can follow and ultimately fatally shoot young black children without being convicted of any charges.
