Dunkin’ Donuts is probably one of the few fast food chains that still draws a crowd when one of their locations open. (Come on, when was the last time you cared about a McDonald’s grand opening?)
Dunkin’ is celebrating its newest shop, located directly on Calle Ocho this Saturday, March 24. Taking a page from the Little Havana songbook, the coffee and donut shop is throwing a fiesta complete with music and dance.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., enjoy music provided by Mega radio, Dunkin’ product samples, and face painting.
If you bite into your Boston creme and hear a choir singing, you didn’t
die and go to sugar heaven — it’s the Our Lady of Lourdes Academy
choir, performing at the celebration. And, if you think the coffee’s
muy caliente, be prepared for some hot salsa dance moves by the Salsa Lovers dance studio.
Guests will receive a free 14-ounce travel mug that can be
refilled with hot coffee for 99 cent, while supplies last.
