Beginning this weekend, Wynwood ice cream shop Dasher & Crank will churn out 11 limited-edition flavors for the Super Bowl, the Chinese New Year, and National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. With the release of these flavors Friday afternoon, the ice cream shop will have made 185 different flavors in less than a year.
It started last April, when the light-pink storefront, marked by a glowing neon ice-cream-cone sign, debuted with a whimsical lineup of ice creams, such as raspberry wasabi and mint with activated charcoal. Now, for the newest collection, owner Daniel Levine has joined forces with local spots including Miami Smokers, Zak the Baker, El Bagel, and Per’La. He only produced one batch of each flavor, which he estimates will last through Sunday.
“We’re fortunate enough to collaborate with some of Miami’s best local food artisans,” Levine says. “I build flavors around their amazing products. I also look

Though the Chinese New Year isn’t until Tuesday, stop by over the weekend for flavors including Black Sesame, Ginger Candy, Chinese Five Spice, Fortune Cookies ‘n’ Cream, and Don Tot, mixed with traditional Chinese egg custard made by Fireman Derek’s.
As for the Super Bowl, Dasher & Crank will serve the L.A. Ram Raisin, which includes Jamaican rum-soaked raisins in a rum custard, and the G.O.A.T. (Tom Brady), a goat milk-based cream with honey, walnuts, and cherries.
Levine’s holiday flavors will be available only through the weekend unless they sell out sooner. Once the batches run out, they’re gone for good or until next year. The shop will open at 9 a.m. instead of 11:30 a.m. on Saturday for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day.
Otherwise, swing by for a few of the shop’s classics, such as Your Basic Vanilla, the Chocolate Crank, and Chicken and Waffles, which mixes chunks of chicken and waffle from nearby Kush. Prices start at $5.
