Vine E Olio Cooks For Conscious Bite Out

Vino E Olio will be opening in the Design District come late next month, but this Thursday, August 26th, the restaurant's chef Andrea Menichetti will prepare a Summer Harvest meal for the dinner club known as Conscious Bite Out.

Conscious Bite Out is the brainchild of Marcela Llodra and Veronica Menin. Each month, in collaboration with an area chef, they host an organic dinner at The Sacred Space in Wynwood. Marcela, Veronica, and chef Menichetti will purchase the produce at Paradise Farms and Glaser Organic Farms; burrata and mozzarella cheeses will come from Mozzarita, a local Italian company in Pompano Beach. Andrea will be using local products for the Tuscan cuisine at Vino e Olio as well.

This week's 5-course meal will be paired with organic Italian wines. Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Space (100 NE 25th St., Miami). Price is $65. To RSVP, call 305-608-9101.
