Ouzo’s Greek Taverna & Bar has announced plans to open their second venue, to be located in the former Madiba space on South Beach’s west side -- just down the block from another Mediterranean favorite, Sardinia. I’ve always enjoyed the North Miami Beach Ouzo’s, and explained why in my review shortly after it premiered four years ago across the street from the Normandy fountain. Gigi Meoli (who owns Ouzo’s with wife Liza Hadjidhristou) assured me that it will be just like the original (“same good food, same good prices”), but with a take-out addition next door, Ouzo’s Express (“A little cafe where you can get food, like a gyro to-go, real quick”). Mr. Meoli says it will be set to debut in early July. -- Lee Klein
