New Florida Publix AKA "Clublix" Goes Viral. Would You Like a Tour?

The hottest new club in South Florida doesn't have a bouncer at the door, has no cover charge, smells of crisp fried chicken, has wine and beer on tap, and welcomes guests who are even rocking board shorts and flip-flops — it's a new Publix supermarket in Wellington, Florida.

But this Publix isn't your regular cold, aisle-filled supermarket with a bakery section, a deli station preparing "Pub Subs," and rows of lemon pepper rotisserie chicken being heated in a heater. This Publix serves pizza, has a burrito station, dispenses wine and beer on tap, and even does custom Chipotle-style bowls, in addition to new açaí bowls and poke bowls. Oh, and it has a large second-floor terrace overlooking the whole store for leisurely in-store dining (and sipping).

It's the new Publix at Courtyard Shops, located at 13880 Wellington Trce. in Wellington, a city in Palm Beach county, and it's gone absolutely viral across Instagram and TikTok for being Florida's new "Clublix."

Food bloggers and South Florida residents are so excited about this Publix that some even claim "they'll never go to Chipotle ever again." That's a serious statement.

Brand New Burritos, Nachos, Enchiladas, and Bowls With Unlimited Toppings

At "Clublix," customers can visit the new burritos, nachos, and bowls bar where they can find custom-made bowls, burritos, and nachos made to order with more than 30 fixings.

According to food blogger Yum n Fun on TikTok (@yumnfyn), the toppings customers can order onto either nachos, bowls, or stuffed into their burritos are "unlimited." Plus, Publix doesn't even charge extra for queso or guacamole. "They pack this thing," she says. "They don't charge by the pound, and you pay a fixed price."

Burritos, bowls, and enchiladas all come with unlimited toppings for only $10.99. Some of the burritos and bowls featured on the menu are Mediterranean, vegetarian, Asian-style, Tex-Mex, and, of course, the option for a custom creation of each customer's choosing.

Plus, the topping and filling options are wild — we're talking more than 30 to choose from. They range from chili-lime rice and "Borracho Beans" to chicken verde and a Korean barbecue sauce.

This new Publix also has a wine bar, beer on tap, custom smoothies, acai bowls, and craft sodas to grab either before shopping or after shopping (Some of the aforementioned items will definitely take the edge off if you're shopping off of a grocery list, but please drink responsibly.)

"Start your shopping trip at Pours, our café and bar," explains Publix. "Enjoy a cup of coffee or any of our delicious drinks while you shop, or come hang out and refresh yourself with a bowl or smoothie before you head on home."

Count us in.

"Love draft beer? Good. We have them in pints or flights," continues Publix. "We also have wine, so you can enjoy a glass at our bar or take it with you while you shop. And whether it's happy hour, Sunday fun day, or anytime, really, you can enjoy a drink at Pours."

As if the custom craft sodas, wine, and beer weren't enough, Pours also serves custom fresh fruit and protein smoothies,
açai bowls, and custom açai bowls made with strawberries, pineapples, kiwi, granola, and more.

Custom Poke Bar, Pizza Station, Sushi, and Gourmet Popcorn Station

For those craving even more food while shopping, the possibilities are endless.

The Publix also has a custom poke bar and sushi bar. At the poke bar, customers can choose from a list of proteins and toppings.

Craving pizza? There's now an entire menu filled with pizza options ranging from the "Aloha Cowboy Pizza" to a roasted veggie variety.
Although this new Publix just opened exactly one month ago, it's already a sensation in Palm Beach County and beyond.

Word on the street is a mega Publix, complete with a Publix Pours, will be opening in Miami-Dade County very soon.
